Hi. My names is Martha and I've been an activities director for 28 years. I received my Bachelors degree from Florida State University in Leisure Services and Studies with an emphasis in Gerontology. I have worked in Life Care communities since then planning activities for the residents who live in the independent side of the community. I've learned a great deal about getting the job done, avoiding burn-out and most of all, creating an enjoyable, educationally stimulating, and healthy set of offerings each month.
